The Legacy Promise — also known as God’s Pocket — is our commitment to doing business differently.

As Legacy Injury & Wellness grows, we intentionally set aside funds to support nonprofit organizations making a measurable impact in the College Park community.

This is not a marketing gimmick. This is a structural promise — built into how we operate.

10% Revenue Pledge

10% of our revenues (up to $100K) are donated directly to God's Pocket annually.

To ensure our survival and prosperity, we must focus on seven essential Economic Pillars that will empower us to reclaim, rebuild, and advance our community. Each pillar is designed to foster economic independence, strengthen our infrastructure, and create generational wealth.

Legacy Capital

Access to capital is the foundation of economic empowerment. For African Americans, financial resources fuel business growth, homeownership, and generational wealth, leading to long-term financial independence. Investing in this pillar means:

  • Reducing systemic financial barriers

Legacy Educational Fund

A strong educational foundation is critical for our future. By investing in this pillar, we will create endowment funds that provide long-term stability for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and future generations. This funding will:
  • Provide scholarships & financial aid
  • Improve campus infrastructure
  • Support research & innovation
  • Reduce reliance on public and private funding uncertainties

Legacy Properties

Property ownership is one of the most powerful ways to build generational wealth and strengthen our communities. Investing in this pillar means reclaiming and rebuilding residential, commercial, and industrial areas in our cities.

  • Rebuilding inner-city neighborhoods
  • Driving economic stability through real estate investment

Legacy Markets

Food access is essential for health, well-being, and economic stability. Many in our community face food insecurity due to a lack of fresh, affordable, and nutritious options. This pillar will support the creation of:
  • Black-owned grocery chains and mini-markets
  • Corner stores stocked with fresh, healthy food
  • Sustainable food distribution networks
  • Stronger food security & health outcomes

Legacy Technical Colleges & Community Centers

Traditional college isn’t for everyone. Investing in this pillar means building technical colleges and community centers that equip our people with the skills needed for high-paying, in-demand careers. These institutions will:
  • Provide vocational training & certifications
  • Offer after-school, evening, and weekend programs
  • Foster economic growth & social development
  • Empower individuals through education & engagement

Legacy Manufacturing & Distribution

We must shift from being consumers to producers. By creating our own manufacturing and distribution centers, we will establish a national and international presence for Black-owned products and services. Investing in this pillar will:

  • Promote self-directed job creation
  • Support innovation & technological advancement
  • Develop supply chains within our community
  • Drive urban revitalization & economic independence

Legacy Careers

Access to high-quality, well-paying jobs is essential for economic mobility and wealth-building. This pillar will support the creation of a National Employment Agency dedicated to securing opportunities for our community. It will also:
  • Provide direct job placement services
  • Offer career coaching & mentorship
  • Address underrepresentation in leadership roles
  • Help close the racial wealth gap through career development
Recipient nonprofits are reviewed annually to ensure accountability, alignment, and real impact.
